The World’s Longest Sushi Roll Spans an Absurd 1.5 Miles

Sushi is great because it’s one of those foods that you can’t get enough of. But we found a Japanese restaurant in the city of Yekaterinburg  that measures its rolls not in pieces, but in football fields.

Determined to break the world record for longest sushi roll, a shopping center aptly named “ΜΕΓΑ” contacted the Guinness Book of World Records and set out to construct a 2.5 kilometer (1.55 mile) long “sausage”. (Apparently this is what they’re called in Russia. The more you know…)
